SSR Book Entry

I started to think about how lucky I am to have the money for my two dogs when I was reading this. I thought of this because in the book, Marty, the boy, finds a dog but has to return him. The dog belongs to a guy named Judd who mistreats and abuses his dog. Marty is trying to keep the dog and feed him as he would do if he was his. Aparently, Marty's family can't feed their own children and a dog.

SSR Book Entry

At first I thought that this book had many mistakes in grammer. Like when I read one part the boy said, "I ain't got none." But as I read on, I realized that I know an author wouldn't have that many mistakes. So as I said, I read on and was focusing on the setting. I finally found out that the book was in the country, and that was how they showed that it was in the country.

Shiloh

I chose this book because I have read it before and loved it, so I decided to read it again. Also because I love a story that will put tears in my eyes like when I read how Shiloh's owner, Judd, kicked him. This book has a movie to it so I know that once I read the book, I can look forward to watching the movie. I chose this book also because when I read the back of the book it said that there two more sequals and once I finish one book I want to go on with another sequal.

Describe the Setting

The book I am reading is called Shiloh. The setting of the book, is way up high in the hills in a small town called Friendly. A Very little people know where Friendly is. It is near Sisterville, which is halfway between Wheeling and Parkersburg.
