My question was do solar cookers really work?
My hypothsis was that my solar cooker would not work.

1. search on the internet about solar cookers and find a style you like.
2.make a solar cooker based on the design you  liked from the internet.
3.put a thermometer in the cooker and put it in the shade for 5 minutes to get a baseline tempreture.
4. put it in the sun for ten minutes checking it every two minutes.
5. make any adjustments and repeat steps 3 and 4.
