I chose this book because it is by my favorite author, Joan Lowry Nixson. The last book that I read by her was This Weekend was Mudder. It gave me chills that would made you want to stop reading it. I got through it and it was a good book. This is why I chose this book

Monsters of Morly Manner is just like the book The Dragon Ridder because they both have mystical creatures like monsters. They both have to solve a mystery to make things right. Both have humans finding the monster who might be nice or mean. The humans both get involved into the problem. I will tell you what happens next time.

This book is about a girl who goes to an old man's house. He died a while ago. The main girl,Anthony, and her little sister,Sarah, went to the dead man's garage sail where his daughter-in-law was selling his old items. Anthony's sister find a mysterious box. Sarah and Anthony are eager to buy the box and see whats in side. When they do buy it, Anthony runs up to her room and shuts the door behind her. I will have to figure out what happens next.
