Sentence Fluency- Basketball, Monkeys, Individualism, Happy

Once upon a time in a rainforest somewhere in the world, there was a tribe of monkeys that liked to play basketball. The monkeys were very good at basketball, and often had tournaments and championships to determine the best team. In fact, as I, Professor W. Dingleberry, P.h.d., type this on my laptop, I am sitting high in a tree overlooking the biggest basketball court in the jungle.
This court is indeed quite amazing, as the monkey tribe has managed to clear out a large enough space to play and have put a hoop on a tree at either end to create a wonderful playing area. Now, in all my studies of- aha! Here they come. It is the two teams competing for the title of ?Grand Champion? - the Bananas and the Apes- and the game is about to begin!
As the teams meet at center court, I glance over the players. There appears to be a female monkey on the Bananas' team, and apparently it is causing a bit of-ahem- confusion. Deary me! I?ll listen in.
?You can?t play with that weakling on your team!? declares the team captain of the Apes. ?You, girl, what are you doing? Girls don?t play basketball.?
?Hel-lo! It?s called individualism!? replies the apparently insulted ?girl?. This does not seem to go over well, for- they?re fighting! Oh, dear! Over and over they roll, until- ah, they?re done.  The ?girl? has apparently won! Lovely. Now maybe they?ll begin, as they all seem happy enough. Oh, dear, we have one more problem- they don?t have a referee! Actually, I fancy myself a rather dandy one, so I think I?ll pop on down and volunteer. After all, they don?t call me Dingleberry for nothing! Cheerio!
     ?Hey-you! Monkeys!?
