Dear Leila,
Thank you so much for inviting me to NYC this
summer. As you know, I have wanted to visit this marvelous city
nearly my entire life. Of all the many things you have done for
me, this is the most generous, and one of the most heartfelt.
Amazingly, you have selected many of my dream destinations! Broadway,
of course, the Plaza, and Saks Fifth Avenue, only to name a few- I
could hardly be more elated! Not to say in the least that that it is
merely the city that creates the appeal of this trip. There is no one I
would prefer to you as my New York companion. I’m am also
thrilled that I will be meeting your friends Fran and Lucy, considering
that I have heard so many incredible things about them. Only 104 days
left!
