Stargirl
I choose this book because of what the back said. It was big font, and said how great this girl was. It said things like, she was elusive, she was today, she was tomorrow, and that's one of the reasons I choose this book. Another reason I choose this book was because of the first few pages. The hook was great, it pulled me right in. If you think youu would like to read this book, "Stargirl" this entry could help you decide even faster.

Among the Hidden I started to think about... Among the HiddenI started to think about... Among the Hidden
I started to think about how horrible it would be when Jen, one of the characters, was shot, and the family could not tell anybody. They could not tell anybody, because she was a third child, and the law was that every family could only have two kids at the most. That's the reason why they had to go around, with red faces all day, pretending nothing happened. I would hate to have to do that, plus the family couldn't even burry her at a cemetery, because she was an illegal person. This is why I started to think about this part of the book.

Describe The Setting
The setting of Among the Hidden takes place in the future. The main character, Luke, has been stuck in his family's house for over six years and so the setting takes place there, at the house. This house is nothing but a ranch with a farm in the back of it. It is a regular four person house, that includes a TV, a kitchen table, an attic, a few bedrooms, and a huge backyard ranch.
