Dear Mr. Spinelli:
   Hello. My name is Travis Courtney. I am writing to you because I wanted to tell you how much I liked Maniac McGee and because I wanted to ask you some questions about the book.

   When I first read Maniac McGee, I was completely amazed at how good it was. It's my favorite book that I?ve ever read. I really like the part when he had to untie that huge knot to win a pizza membership for one year.

My first question is, why did you write Maniac McGee? What inspired you to write the book? Next, who influenced you to write Maniac McGee? How did you get the names for it?

    Thanks for taking the time to read my letter. I hope I can write to you again.

Directions, How to get...

How to get to from Mr. Tubbs classroom

to the downstairs boys bathroom.

To get from Mr. Tubbs classroom to the downstairs boys bathroom takes about one minute and thirty seconds if you are walking. You need to get there because you have to go to the bathroom.

*From Mr. Tubbs classroom door, turn left.

*Walk forward for about three seconds.

*Walk down twenty-four steps. This should take about fourteen seconds.

*Walk forward for about 20 seconds down a short hallway. Make sure passed four doors on the way.

*Turn left.

*Walk forward for about thirty seconds down a hallway.

*When you pass a fourth door on the right, immediately turn right.

*Walk forward for about two seconds. You should see a blue sigh on the right that says ?Boys? and a gray door in front of you.

*Go to the bathroom.

Self Reflection Part 2: Feel the Wrath of the Self Reflection
In the putrid smelling shed, holes in the wall let rain come in causing almost everything in there to have mold on it. If you closed your eyes and smelled this shed, you might actually think it?s a waste dump. Decayed wood coats the floor like icing coats a cake. This sickening mess makes me feel like I need a bath.
