My favorite entry is His/her played with his/her toys. It's my favortie because in that story, I could write practically whatever I wanted to write. It was a really fun entry to write. In this story, I used very creative writing. I hope I can write a story like this one again.
1. What I liked most about using the blogs was that we were using the computer. I can type faster than I can write so it was easier for me to get my writing projects done. I also liked that what we wrote about wasn't very limited, so we could make up stories for the lessons you gave us.
2. What I didn't like about blogs is that it was sometimes very limited for writing what we want. Also, I didn't like it because it was kind of like a big cover-up. It made it seem like since it's on the computer and it's a blog, every assignment is fun. Still, I thought it was fun.
3. It feels like my writing improved from the blogs because now I am using more sensory details. Also, it's helped me to use sentence fluency.
4.Maybe next year, you can make blogs more of a treat instead of an assignment. Every once in a wile you would have to do assignments on it, but if your class was behaving good, you could let them write what ever they want as a treat.

Rain forests in the Amazon are being destroyed, but people are trying to stop it.
For
a long time, Yanomami people lived by themselves. Settlers came in the
1960s. Then gold was found in Yanomami territories which brought
miners. When the miners came, they brought diseases like malaria,
influeza, and the whooping cough. About 10,000 square miles of
rainforest was cut down in 2004. After many years, about twenty
percent of rainforest has been cut down. Some reason for cutting it
down are cattle ranching, substence cultivation, logging, fires,
mining, roads, and commercial agriculture. W.F.F., A.R.P.A., and
other associations are trying to help preservie the rainforests. Only twelve percent of the
rainforest iis protected which is about the size of California. Also, there
are only eighty reserves. Cutting down the rainforests is hurting our
Earth. About half of the Earth�s plants and animals are located
there. It also takes in a lot of carbon dioxide. Buring it will cause
global warming. Finally, cutting it down will cause extinction. The rainforest has a good supply of plants that help diseases, trees that take in carbon dioxide, and wildlife that makes our Earth unique. Cutting it down will hurt us more than it will help us.
