Task

You will decide on a container— a shoe box, cardboard box, plastic bucket, paper bag, or similar object—to use as a solar collector to harness the sun's energy. Then you will figure out what colors and textures to use on the inside surfaces of it, how to point it, and how to insulate it to make the most of the amount of sunshine the collector catches.

In the comment section below, please list the three different styles of cooker designs and then find a plan that looks interesting and list the materials that you would need to build it.

1. Three different styles of cooker designs, are box-style cookers, panel cookers, and parabolic cookers.
2. A plan that looks interesting is the box-style cookers. To build that you would need a type of box, such as a cardboard box, or a shoebox. Then you would need a morror, and then either a pipe, if you were making a parabolic trough, or you would need a special kind of fluid, if you were making a central tower power plant.

Three different types of solor cooker styles are 1.Collapsible solar box cooker, 2.The "Easy Lid" cooker, and 3.The reflective open box cooker
My plan to do the Callaspible solar box cooker is to get some cardboard and tin-foil. The cardboard will be for the structure and the opening top. The tin-foil will be for the inside to capture the suns enrgy and reflect it at the other tin foil to heat it up.

Three types of solar cookers are...1.Collapsible solar box cooker, 2.The "Easy Lid" cooker, and 3.The reflective open box cooker. My plan is to make a box cooker. I will need cardboard a curved peice too and i will also need foil there will be two peices one will be curved and the other flat. so when opened, produces a box that centers heat on one spot. Since not all sun will hit it the piece that is curved, the flat peice, is pointed so it hits the foil which consintrates heat on particular area.

I think that panel cookers would look cool. To make them, you need tin foil to reflect the sun's rays, card board to put the tin foil on, and glue to hold in all together.
