final reflection

My rainforest summary #3 is my best entry.  It has all the things my teacher taught me this year and I used them to the best of my ability.  I am pround of it.

Blogging survey -

1.  I enjoyed the most about having my own webpage.  I could customize the colors (pink and black) and decide what i wanted it to be like, so it would be different from everyone elses.
2. I did not like that we had little freedom outside of what you said to do.  We couldn't have been creative if we had so many limits.  I think there should've been more free days to be creative.
3. I think my writing did improve this year, but it was not from blogs.  I think blogs were just a way to have all our writing samples put together and so they were easier to grade.  My writing skills improved from HBJ.
4. To make the blogs a better teaching tool, it needs to have lessons posted on it that students do assignments after. thatr is my idea.

summary # 3

Rainforest is being destroyed, but people are trying to keep it intact to save the natives.  Soon, People had settled in rainforests and much of it was destroyed. Then diseases spread to the native Yanomami people when miners came for gold.  Land was set aside for the Yanomami people and they got help from outsiders.  Much of forest is lost due to logging for valuable wood and getting soy for the global market.  The government in Brazil is stopping deforestation by declaring land protected and they still think the rainforest can be saved.
