Bindi Babes

I first thought that Amber, Geena, and Jazz were going to get Auntie to leave, by being mean to her. I thought that, because that was their first attempt. I now realize, that that isn't going to work, because every time they do something tricky, the aunt makes it backfire. Then, I thought they were going to marry her off, but, once agian, that did not work. I now think, that they are going to just try to put up with her. I think that, because Amber found a letter from their mom, who died, to Auntie, saying she asked her to come live with them when she died. That is what I think now.

Bindi Babes

I chose this book because, my friend suggested it to me. We were at the library and I couldn't find a good book, so she told me to try it. I read the inside description, and it sounded interesting. I like realistic-fiction books and this is realistic. Also, the front cover looked cool, because it shows the three girl's feet, with their cool shoes on, and some lady's, with Indian shoes on. That really made me want to read it, and find out who it was wearing Indian shoes and why. Those are the main reasons I chose this book.

Describe the Setting

The setting of Bindi Babes is is present day Englend. It is in a community that has a lot of Indian families. It mostly takes place at their house and at their school. Their house is in an Indian community, but they aren't all Indians. Two of the girls share a bedroom and one has her own. They try to make it as neat as they can. Their school is a wreck, though. They are making a knew school, but for now, the walls are cracked, the ceilings crumbling, and it's a total mess!
