P.S. Longer Letter Later

I want to read the book P.S. Longer Letter Later, because I think the title sounds interesting. I also wanted to read this, because I read the discription, and I thought that it sounded really good. I also want to read this because it is written by Paula Danzinger and Ann M. Martin. I have read a book by Ann M. Martin before and I really enjoyed reading it and she used really descriptive words. I want to read this book for those reasons.

A Corner of the Universe and The Great Gilly Hopkins

The Great Gilly Hopkins is like my book, because the main charachters both feel like they don't fit in. Nobody likes Gilly and doesn't have any friends. Hattie, in A Corner of the Universe, only has one friend, because people think she is strange because her uncle has a mental problem. Gilly is mean to everybody and that is a reason why she doesn't fit in. Also, they both feel like nobody understands how they feel. That is how A Corner of the Universe and The Great Gilly Hopkins are alike.

A Corner of the Universe

A word I didn't know was cotillion. The people in the book were talking a Summer Cotillion and the main character being able to get a new dress for it. I then figured out that a cotillion was a dance, because the girl had a flash-back and in it, it talked about the last cotillion and how there was food, and people were dancing and wearing dresses. That is how I found out the definition of the word cotillion.
