Dear Mrs. Martin:

Thank you for writing the book P.S. Longer Letter Later.  My name is Ari and I liked this book because it is realistic-fiction, and I love reading realistic-fiction books.  Sometimes I can relate to them. I could relate to a few events in this book, such as having someone who I talk to a lot who has moved.

I also liked this book because it was written entirely in letters.  To do that must have taken some thought and creativity.  I probably wouldnt have been able to think of something like that.  It is also very interesting that you wrote this book by sending it back and forth between you and Paula Danziger.

By the way, I was wondering, what inspired you to write P.S. Longer Later?  Also, how did you and Paula Danziger start to write this book?  Were you good friends before, or did someone ask you two to start writing a book together?  If you could please answer these question, I would appreciate it greatly.  Thank you once again for writing P.S. Longer Letter Later.

Sincerely,

Ari

Directions

How to Get From Mr. Tubb's Class to Mrs. Dennys Room

You will need to get to Mrs. Dennys strings room for strings class, and you are in Mr. Tubbss room. You need to get there; otherwise you will be late for class. Here are the directions on how to get there. This should only take about one minute and 20 seconds.

* Turn left out of Mr. Tubbss room and go down twenty-four steps.

* Walk down the hallway until you come to a corner.

* Turn left, and you will pass the art room and the library.

* Stop at the drinking fountain that is on the left side, and turn right through the light blue door.

* Walk down this hallway and turn left at the double doors on your left hand side.

* Go down the slanted hallway and go through the doors at the end of the hall on the right.

* You will pass three doors, not classrooms.

* At the third door, take about ten steps.

* Turn to your right, and step inside. This is Mrs. Dennys strings room.

Thank you letter

    3/08/06

Dear Jenna,

Thank you for helping me with my math homework.  You really helped me to understand what I need to do to figure out the problem.  Understanding what I need to do will make it easier for me on my math achievement test and will later on in my math classes.  To help me on my homework while you were still working on yours was very considerate of you.  Now, I can understand those types of math questions.

Your sister,

Ari

Self-Reflection part-two

The cluttered old basement was filthy and scummy. All of the air smelled like mold, and you could hear rats scurrying through the shelves. The whole the room felt musty and thick. Creaky locker doors were rusty and wide open. Jagged wood was piled into the middle of the floor, collecting dust and grime. Some pieces of the wood were tumbling down the pile, leaving a small, quiet crash.
