How to get to the Computer Lab on the Third Floor from room 201
You need to go to the computer lab on the third floor to work on your super-fun powerpoint that Mr. Tubbs' assigned you. You are starting at Mr. tubbs' room and it will take about a minute to walk up there.

~ Outside of Mr. Tubbs' room, make a right and walk down the hall untill you see a staircase.

~ You will pass two classrooms on your left and two on your right.

~ Next to the staircase will be room 207.

~ Walk up both staircases which will be twenty-five steps.

~ When you get up the stairs, to your left will be the Spanish room, room 305.

~ Turn right and walk down the hall to room 307 and your there.

~ Have a good time making a super-fun powerpoint on the computer.

3/8/06

Dear Mrs. Bishop,

Thank you so much for helping us in math. Quickly I noticed that the sessions enhanced my grades and I am beginning to like math. It is also beginning to be stimulating. I have been so excited to take tests because I understand it all now. Waiting for the grades back is really tough.
I hope we can to it a lot more. It will really prepare me for math next year, which is probably going to be really difficult. I will miss you next year though. Thanks again.

Your favorite student,

Lily Grace

sensory details #2-lonely- for self-reflection
Lonely. This is such a lonely place to be. This filthy, smelly room has old, dirty lockers that smell like grimy gym socks in the frigid, dark basement. The lockers feel very cold and fragile. Next to a pile of rubble, is a senile, broken down workshop table. It looks as if someone started beating it with a hammer. All I can hear is a little rat crawling through the rubble, making all of the wood fall. But besides that, there is dead silence. If someone would have dropped a paper clip on the ground it would sound as loud as a person screaming from a distance away.

Self-Reflection

My best Entry was The Clock Store. It had a variety of sentence beginnings. It had quickly and running. I also used strong verbs. For example, I have bawled for screaming and convey for bring. There is also scurrying, for the word running. I have all my words spelled correctly and the proper grammar.

The entry I need improvement on is my Sensory Details-Lonely. I need to add different sentence beginnings, like instead of using there is, I need to use the room or even I should describe the room. For example, The filthy, smelly room. I also need to use some of the words a little less. For example, old, cold, and dirty. I should use strong verbs, like instead of using old, cold, and dirty all the time, I could use grimy or felt as if you were touching a locker that has just been in Antartica. My spelling doesn't need much improvement, but there are a couple words that are spelled wrong.

My goal is acheivable. I should try to write at least two sentences that start with an adverb, or a word with -ing for each entry I make. I will also use at least four strong verbs in each of my entries.

Friendly Letter
2/8/06

Dear Will Smith,

I would just like to thank you so much for the tour of Hollywood and letting Patty and me perform in your concert with you. Do you think we could have a career in singing? Ha, Ha. We had a blast and it was great to see you again. You made it so much fun.
Maybe next time I can give you a tour of Wyoming, which might not be as exciting as Hollywood, but everybody is really nice. You can even meet my other friends and my family.
How have you been since? Did you have a good holiday? I had a great holiday, I got a lot of what I want. It was also nice being with my family. Maybe you can come down here for thanksgiving and bring your family also.
Are you doing any new movies or any new albums? If you are, I am definitely buying them. You are a great actor and singer. I love the old series Prince of Bel Air and your movie Hitch.
You can call my home phone, 513-821-4532, or my cell phone, 513-376-5504. You can also e-mail me, [email protected].

                                                                                                                                  Your friend,

                                                                                                                                   Lily Grace
